All has been quiet on the website front these past few months as I’ve been somewhat busy putting together our eatery, Josie Bones. The doors are now open so come on down and join us for some ridiculously tasty beers, and delicious food to match. We’re at 98 Smith Street, Collingwood.
I’ve been chosen as a co-challenger on Iron Chef, competing with Chris Badenoch. Keep an eye out for our episode, coming soon to Channel 7. It was an insane and heady experience filming the battle, so I’m certainly looking forward to seeing the show go to air.

As you may have read in your respective newspapers, I am currently involved in setting up a bar/restaurant. News sure does travel fast! Larissa Dubecki in The Age first wrote about it in Espresso here.
The premises are located in Smith Street, Collingwood, one of Melbourne’s fastest growing food streets and is going to be a beer focussed bar with great food to match.

Just a reminder, Delish starts nationally on Channel 7two this Friday night at 7:00pm. It’s all about growing your own food, sourcing local produce and cooking easy, delicious meals (my department). It’s been super fun so I hope you all enjoy watching it (and cooking it I hope!) as much as I have enjoyed making it. Big thanks to the crew, Nev and Trev, Josh and of course that lovable rascal Dave Karsten for the opportunity, the support and the laughs.

I’ve started a little blog over here. It’s just for fun at the moment (and very sparsely populated) but I’m enjoying exploring the other topics in food (and other things, thus the And) that I don’t get to in my professional life. I do love to write, and obviously food is my favourite topic so keep an eye out for more posts in the very near future!
